Mixzee started producing films as SBE in 1995.  Created by John Kendrick, recognised by Screen Australia as a qualified Director, Producer, EP and Writer of theatrical feature films. Mixzee has expertise nurturing creative concepts into commercial films for audiences to enjoy.
We started with children’s entertainment DVD’s.  Each DVD achieved triple gold sales. DVD sales total over 100k+
Our first feature film, The Silly Billies Saves The Circus! features Red Symons, Wilbur Wilde and circus performers from Baz Luhrman’s Moulin Rouge. The films theatrical release, screened on over 250 cinema screens around Australia and New Zealand, and at the Big Screen Film Festival.
The Silly Billies Saves The Circus! had market screenings at Cannes Film Festival.  The movie is Australia’s first ever independent children’s feature film, and recognised by National Film and Sound Archive as a film of great national interest.
Our productions have been broadcast in Australia on Channel 10, Channel V, Channel 7, Channel 9 and the ABC and New Zealand TV3.
