12 year old soccer mad Jimmy moves with his mother, Ellie from Shanghai, China to a small country town in Australia. With no local soccer team Jimmy must use his imagination and initiative to further his love of the game. With the help of the local community he starts the town’s first soccer team called the Kangaroos. He recruits players with some skills in other football codes to round out a well balanced team. Will this ragtag band of mischievous kids be able to make a good impression at the upcoming regional soccer championships and win the team a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Shanghai, China to watch a Chinese Super League game?

What The Frack?

Easy going, good time guy Sam leaves his oil rig job in Western Australia to live in Queensland and reconnect with his estranged 12 year old daughter, Jinx. In his haste to purchase a property before quitting the oil rig, Sam overlooks the fine print of the real estate contract. Evie, an indigenous eco-activist is Sam’s tenant for the next three months. Meanwhile an incident at a nearby Queensland coal seam gas mine is about to change everything. Earthquakes and a massive contamination of the Great Artesian Basin, the largest water reservoir in the world are predicted. The local town is evacuated but Sam’s daughter Jinx is missing. When a severe earthquake hits the town, Sam escapes to safety with Jinx and has an emotional reunion with Evie.

Rosie must overcome her inner conflict to save herself and her friends from a raging monstrous ex biker when one of Terry’s clearings goes horribly wrong on an old isolated rundown property.

Indie has a blinding flash of inspiration when she sees Whip It, Drew Barrymore’s roller derby film on cable TV. As fate would have it, six other ladies in her town with diverse backgrounds are also watching the same movie. When Indie posts on Facebook asking for girls interested in forming a local roller derby team, an unlikely bunch of misfits come together to escape the humdrum of their daily lives.

Our planet runs out of Fossil Fuels in 40 years! (Yes. Really!) Two children, Johnny and Mia attempt to solve the mystery of how their grandfather disappeared 20 years ago. The key to their family secret might just help save a world that’s Running on Empty!!

SYNOPSIS

The film is a feel good, uplifting and inspiring story that appeals to families and will be particularly popular with local communities interested in climate change issues. Based on a true events. The movie’s dramatic emotional arc is heightened by flashback scenes of life for a family whose father discovers a solution to fuel shortages but then fears that his invention will be stolen and misused. The film tackles a big topic by asking simple questions in a funny, heart warming journey. The film is grounded by its vision through the eyes of two precocious children with boundless energy and enthusiasm. An old address book that the children find in the glove box of their grandfather’s 1973 Ford Mustang is their only clue. The car’s engine was rumoured to run on an alternative fuel source, but half of the engine mysteriously disappeared along with their grandfather 20 years ago! The kids use social media in a unique way and ask us all to be superheroes and help by answering the call to save the world. The film explores the urban myth that some inventors around the world have struggled to get radical but working ideas into everyday use. Some of these creators suffered mysterious fates or disappeared from family and friends without trace. Skipping forward to today, many large global fuel and vehicle corporations are diversifying into solar energy, Hydrogen and Electric vehicles. The film investigates the potential for ordinary people with ideas that are outside of the box to contribute and help save the planet! Percentage of profits from the film’s release goes towards Fuel Energy Research.
